About Human Resources

 Jack Kelejian, Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources

 Mr. Jack Kelejian joined Central Unified School District in 2001. Prior to his role as Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, Mr. Kelejian served the teachers, students and  community as Principal of Central High School  where his driving theme of “United in Orange” cultivated a spirit of collaboration among staff and students alike. His leadership  experience includes serving as Principal of James K. Polk Elementary, where he led the school  to the highly coveted National Blue Ribbon School nomination. Mr. Kelejian also  served as a Vice-Principal at both Central High School West Campus and El Capitan Middle School. Before entering educational leadership, Mr.  Kelejian taught social science at  Central High School’s West Campus and also served as the Director of Activities. Mr. Kelejian is honored to serve Central Unified as Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources  and to  continue working in a collaborative environment, while building strong partnerships with staff and community members to foster college, career and community  readiness for every student.

 Eliseo Cuellar, Administrator, Human Resources/Child Welfare and Attendance     
 Mr. Eliseo Cuellar joined Central Unified School District in 1996. His career began as an English teacher and continued for the next 7 years as a classroom teacher and football  coach. In 2000, he transitioned  into  administration, first as a Central High School Guidance Instructional Advisor for one year, followed by four years as an elementary vice  principal at Teague Elementary. In 2005 he accepted a role serving as  principal at  McKinley Elementary. In 2011, he accepted a new role as principal who was responsible for  opening Glacier Point Middle School. In 2015 he transitioned to the position of Coordinator of District  Athletics for Central Unified.  During his time with Central  Unified, Eliseo has developed strong relationships with staff, students, and our community. He considers himself a lifelong learner in pursuit of creative  and innovative ideas to  contribute  Central Unified’s success while supporting its staff and students.

Central Unified School District is committed to equal opportunities for all persons and apprising individuals of their right to file a complaint if there are concerns about a District practice [Board Policy 0410]. The following link provides a chart to determine which complaint procedure to follow when a complaint is received. If it is unclear which procedure applies to a complaint, the Superintendent/Designee shall determine correct procedure.
