What's Happening in the Libraries?

May 9, 2019 Library services will be at Biola for their Literacy Night.  We will provide a book walk for students and families to win free books!  The Fresno County Public Library will be there as well  and we are all quite excited.  Teague will have a Literacy night as well on May 30th and we will be doing another book walk as well as taking our families over to see the new Community Center.  We are very hopeful they library will be open for them to see, but that of course depends on construction, etc.

Congratulations to Janet Wile as being selected to be a member of the California Department of Education Recommended Literature List Committee.

El Capitan held their second annual Poetry Slam on Wednesday May 1st as well and more than 30 students attended to listen to their peers present original works of poetry as well as share some of their favorite poems.
