Migrant Services

mig

Our district's Migrant Program is dedicated to meeting the unique needs of migrant students and their families by ensuring priority placement in educational services, as well as providing afterschool support and enrichment opportunities. Through this program, students receive extra academic assistance, while parents gain access to valuable resources and workshops, ensuring that every migrant student has the tools needed to succeed and thrive in our schools.

Qualifications for Migrant Services

Families qualify for Migrant Services in California if they have moved within the last three years for seasonal or temporary work in agriculture, fishing, dairy, or related industries. This program ensures that children of migratory workers receive the educational support they need to overcome challenges associated with frequent moves and interruptions in their schooling. \
