Janene Armas, RN, BSN, PHN
Coordinator of Health Services
Dear families, friends, staff, and students,

My name is Janene Armas. I have the privilege of serving as your District Coordinator of Health Services. In this invigorating role, I work closely with parents, staff, administrators, and other health services professionals to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of your children. Central Unified School District believes in preparing every student for success in college, career, and community. This important aspiration is something we work at diligently each and every day. I am deeply rooted in the Central Valley. I have lived in Fresno my whole life. From kindergarten to high school, through college, and still today, I’ve experienced many joys and blessings. I am motivated daily by the challenges and opportunities that our students face. My personal mission statement is “every child, every day: health, healing and hope.” I believe that when our students succeed, our community is enriched.

Central Unified School District’s Health Services is staffed by twelve registered nurses, twelve licensed vocational nurses, and five health aides. Each Health Services team member is committed to serving the children of Central Unified School District. These dedicated health care professionals stand ready to serve in the following ways:

  • I count it a privilege and honor to be involved in the lives of your children. This is a significant responsibility that I embrace fully. Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,
