Diversity: is understanding that each person is unique. It means embracing people's differences, including their beliefs, abilities, preferences, backgrounds, values, and identities. Equity: each student receives what they need to develop to their full academic and social potential. Inclusion: the practice of providing everyone with equal access to opportunities and resources.

The Department of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion leads activities and initiatives that promote inclusion, equity, access, and an acknowledgment and value for diversity throughout the District. Implement programs to improve student achievement and access to district programs. providing options for students upon graduation. Provide training and professional development programs that advance cultural competence and support a climate of equity and inclusion.
