On Tuesday, February 1st we held our district middle school spelling bee at Rio Vista.  Students from all of our middle schools participated and Japleen Dhillon from Rio Vista and Varundeep Romana from Glacier Point will be representing Central at the County contest.  They will join Gavin Bajwa from Herndon Barstow and Heaven Johnson from Polk as the representative for the elementary spelling bee.  At the County level, there is an elementary contest in the morning and middle school in the afternoon.  The four winners will compete at the end of the middle school contest to determine ONE participant who qualifies for the Scripps National contest.  Two winners from each level can go forward to the State contest.
